This page is all about Bible lesson plans. For now, I only have one simple outline of a 12 week lesson plan, but I hope to be able to add many more different lesson plans to this page.
If you have a solid lesson plan outline, simple or detailed, or any other ideas concerning Sunday school lessons, please write us! (Submissions Page)
Especially when starting a new Sunday School class, or working with children who have limited to no knowledge of the Bible, I believe it is important to start from the very basics and build up. For children who have attended Sunday School for years and have an accumulation of Bible stories and characters in their minds already, their teachers may choose their lessons more freely, but for those with students that don’t know very much yet, a logical procession through the fundamental basics for building their knowledge and understanding of the Word of God is crucial. It is so important to go back to the Old Testament in order to help those children understand clearly who the one true God and Creator is, what sin is, and where sin came from. That will build an excellent foundation for then explaining about the focal point of the Bible– the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Adding in some other important points to round out a good overview of God and the Gospel, below is a 12-point lesson plan outline through both Old and New Testament that is designed to lead a class to a clear understanding of the Gospel. More details will be coming soon.
NOTE: Of course this plan can be more condensed/expanded, the order changed, etc. This is just a lesson plan suggestion.
